Tomich Restaurant, Invergordon, Ross-Shire, IV18 0LF
The New Tomich Restaurant opened this morning (11th May 2014) Tomich Restaurant having been completely refurbished by its new owners Julie and Dave Reilly. Took the children in this morning at 1100 for a snack and was met with a warm welcome from Julie and was amazed by the selection of home made baking, the meringue nest was to die for! This is a complete new menu with all meat sourced locally and all food prepared from scratch with a new chef. The new menu looks really inviting and the carvery that was about to be started made us want to stay for lunch. On talking to Julie she told us that they would be open daily till 6 pm and would also consider taking bookings parties in the evening. There was free WiFi accessible with a code which keeps you up to date whilst on the move. Apart from the carvery which is available immediately all afternoon today the food when ordered is cooked fresh and the wait is well worth it. They also do take away food and drinks if you are in a hurry but with the comfortable seating area and new furniture and views through to the adjacent Tomich Garden Centre and across to Invergordon are an encouragement to dine in. Well done and we will be back and we will be recommending a visit for a snack or full meal to all our freinds
